Case report
The following images and video shows a case of a 32-year-old woman G3P2, with non contributive history and uncomplicated pregnancy, presented to our unit at 38th week of pregnancy. Her ultrasonographic examination (three-vessel view) revealed a ductus arteriosus aneurysm (DAA). The rest of the fetal anatomy was normal. Next day after the evaluation a cesarean was performed the fetus didn´t had any complication and the neonatal echocardiography confirmed the diagnosis. The DAA gradually decreased in size and finally spontaneously closed without medical or surgical intervention.
Images 1, 2: The images represent three-vessel-view of the heart with dilated ductus arteriosus.
