Images 1 - 10: Images 11, 12: View the Answer Hide the Answer Answer Case Report The following images show a case of mature cystic facial teratoma (arising from the right lateral moiety of the fetal face, jaw and neck) diagnosed at 20 weeks a pregnancy. Images 1 - 10: The images show a few scans of the fetal head with a prominent inhomogeneous solid and cystic structures in front of the fetal face representing the cystic facial teratoma. Images 11, 12: The image 9 shows a normal four chamber view of the heart. The image 10 shows sagittal scan of the fetal spine (normal aspect). Image 13: The image represents a pathological specimen showing the location of the facial cystic teratoma arising from the right lateral moiety of the face, jaw and neck.
