This is a 21-year-old woman, with unremarkable past obstetrical history, scanned at 13 weeks of pregnancy. The ultrasound revealed an omphalocele containing liver tissue and bowels. These are some of the images we obtained.
Images 1, 2. 2D sagittal (left) and transverse (right) scans showing omphalocele containing liver and bowels.

Image 3. Color Doppler sagittal scan showing umbilical vein at the level of the omphalocele.

Images 4, 5. 3D images showing omphalocele.
